Basilisks are legendary creatures known as the King of Serpents. They are often described as a snake with the head of a rooster.

This pendant was converted from an antique cufflink (circa 1900) and features a basilisk of 14k gold with a single diamond eye.

The piece measures 0.9 inches from the top of the jump ring to bottom by 0.6 inches wide, and it is in great condition.
