While I call these "bolos", they pre-date "lariats", but are worn exactly the same way, against the bare skin, as a single accessory with a great jacket or blouse...the thimble as a choker with the thimble bolo ends dangling beneath. Extremely sensual and vintage. A clip from one of my favorite films to reinforce that claim.
