Here we have a fabulous drop brooch dating back to the Victorian period. This rounded piece has been crafted from a rich 18ct yellow gold and features multiple decorated layers consisting of scrolled and ribbed borderings. Swinging freely below the main body we find an ornate circular locket with Etruscan style beaded trimming. However, taking centre stage is a large cabochon garnet which sits slightly risen within a fine roped frame.

Bursting with detail, this embellished piece demonstrates the high level of artistry associated with the time period.
